Candle Care

  • Ensure to remove all packaging from wax melts before placing wax into wax burner.
  • Be sure not to overfill your wax burner dish.
  • Never leave burning candles unattended.
  • When burning candles for the first time, melt until the wax pool covers the entire surface of the candle, this can take 2-4 hours depending on size and helps to prevent tunnelling.
  • Never leave a candle burning for longer than 4 hours at a time. Let it cool, trim the wick if needed and relight.
  • Candles burn best when the wicks are trimmed to 5mm.
  • Be sure to place burners or candles on heat resistant dishes, please do not place directly onto a surface that can be damaged.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • A draught may cause a candle flame to smoke and an uneven burn, please try not to burn where there is a draught.
  • Do not use if containers or burners are damaged in any way.
  • Containers and burners may become hot, please handle with care and do not move whilst burning.
  • Replace lids on candles where appropriate to prevent dust or debris from settling on your candles.
  • Store your candles in cool, dry places away from direct sunlight to prevent them from fading, cracking and melting.
  • Ensure that your wick is always centred.
  • We use 100% soy wax so therefore in your candles you may notice some discolouration, lack of adhesion or ballooning of the wicks. These are all completely normal and natural factors when working with soy wax and will not affect the burn or scent throw of your candle.
